Which analysis work best?

It depends on your situation. If the job position is new at your organization the “build profile based on the job requirements” option is the only possible choice. If we can explicitly indicate a person who performs very well well in an existing position and could serve as a role model, you should choose “build profile on the basis of a given person”.

Both of these options will build a profile of a “perfect candidate”. Your job applicants will now be compared and to this profile in a ranked order. On the other hand, “build profile on the basis of a group of people”, no matter if it is based on “model groups” (people which positively stand out, for example in terms of performance) or “model and anti-model groups” (anti-model stands out in the negative way) sometimes may not be able to identify the profile of a “perfect candidate”.

Such situation may occur when the model group is very diverse and the system cannot build a profile. In this case we recommend to change some of the members of the model group. This will help the system to identify common traits for the profile. Alternatively, choose a different type of analysis, for example “build profile on the basis of a given person”.
